Wow I just love how friendly this is. I mean yeah, the Spurs are lame but hey so was Pheonix in that series. Mostly I just hate Bruce Bowen. And Tony Parker. And Manu Ginobli. And Fabricio Oberto. And Robert Horry. So pretty much only Tim Duncan is ok. I respect him. Oh and Pops sucks too. He can take his trashy hack-a-shaq and shove it. Yeah, its legal, but everybody knows its a bitch move.

I just came across this blog randomly while trying to get my playoff fix but... You really shouldn't feel so bad for the Spurs. First off, Pop still has time to make adjustments and I think they have a pretty good shot at winning at least 2 of the next 3 games.
Next... Ginobili's not at his best right now. The games would have been a lot closer if he'd been capable of all the crazy drives he usually is, and I think he's also lost some lateral quickness so he's not as able to get the steal or take the charge.
Also - I think Bowen, in addition to having to guard someone who's just plain faster and has better reaction time by a lot, has finally let all the warnings get to him somewhat. He knows everybody's watching where he puts his feet now, how hard he fouls, etc. He's just that little bit less aggressive on D.
This is not the Spurs at their best. Even if they get kicked this season, they could easily win the championship next season with only minor tweaking of the roster to get them a little more youth, a little more athleticism and energy off the bench instead of yet more specialized and crusty old veterans.
It's nothing like the implosion of the Mavs and the Suns.
Also... initially, I thought that Kerr made a crazy stupid move trading for Shaq. Only when reading a bunch of blogs and opinion pieces did I come to realize that it was not. It was a shoot for the moon gamble to try to make the most of Steve Nash's remaining window.
Steve Kerr's trade was actually a wise long term gamble - because when both Steve Nash and Shaq have their gigantic contracts end, the Suns will have a good idea of how much, if any, is left in their tanks, or if Kerr can use all that freed up money to land a great free agent.
Being a Spurs fan one thing I've come to terms with is that the Spurs will never receive the respect they deserve. Anyone from sports commentators to fans around the country. The one fact that does remain though is that the Spurs dominate and have been dominating for some time now. To all these jerk offs saying "Spurs are gay"....seriously??...is that all you can come up with? As jdid said, the series isn't over and even if the Spurs lose this series I'm still going to sleep well knowing that my team has fucking dominated everyone else's showboating suck ass teams.

Spurs fan, I am a hornets fan, and uh, if we beat you, (which we will) how have you dominated us? The first two games, in the second half, you have gotten POUNDED. And to the guy who said that bowen isnt being his typical self, HE IS TRYING TO BE, but hes getting demolished by Paul. Two games in a row, he has pissed off CP3 and Paul is like Jordan in that way, why would you make him mad? And please, STOP MAKING EXCUSES, about Manu being hurt, and stuff, he was "hurt" during the phoenix series too, and did whatever he wanted. The Hornets are just a far superior defensive team to the Suns.
Uh oh.....looks like the Spurs are back to their old shinanigans again. Snoopy, looks like you're singing a different much more depressing song today.
